Do you charge for a roof report?
Yes. Localised roof reports start from $270 + GST in Sydney and the surrounding regions. We inspect the damaged or questionable area and give you written findings with photos, which you can send to your insurer or assessor. Every report comes with a free quote for any work we find.
Should I get a make safe before my claim is approved?
If water is getting in, yes. Your policy will usually expect you to take reasonable steps to stop further damage. A make safe does that, and the photos and invoice can go in with your claim. Check with your insurer if you're unsure.
What if my claim isn't approved?
The report still tells you exactly what's wrong and what it'll take to fix. That's why every report comes with a free quote for the damage or concerns we find.
Do you work on tiled and metal roofs?
Yes. We repair and replace both, and handle the carpentry side too: battens, fascia, eaves and framing.
